Welcome friends! I’m Mikala!

My adventures with clay started when I was eleven years old. I was inspired by a local potter showing a demo at a nearby art festival. So what did I do you may ask? I went home and made the most hideous bowl you could imaging out of red Georgia clay. In the same year, my parents saw my desperation and bought me a real pottery wheel and lessons. The fun and excitement of ceramic arts grew for a little while, but quickly faded as most things do for a kid.

Fast forward sixteen years… and here I am selling my own art. The love for pottery remained in that little girl’s heart and later grew into something more than she ever expected. The Lord has blessed me beyond measure with this gift of art. He gets all the glory!

Some other bits you may not know is that I love being a wife and dog mom. My husband, Jon, is my biggest supporter and I could not do this without him.
